General information on the webstore

This store is based in Tampere, Finland.
The product prices include Finnish value added tax 24% (VAT). I reserve the rights to change prices and delivery charges. I supply products in Finland as well as abroad.
Payment Methods
The orders are paid during check-out either by
1. Checkout Finland payment service, enabling you to pay by either online bank service as well as by card,
2. PayPal payment service, where the payment is transferred from your PayPal account.
Estimated delivery time and shipping cost
You can choose from two delivery methods:
Shipments less than 3cm thick:
Finnish postal service (Posti) as a economy letter.
Your shopping cart will automatically calculate your shipping cost based to your address and items.
Shipments over 3cm thick
This is only available to Finnish addresses:
Finnish postal service as a parcel (max. 110mm), 5.90€
Matkahuolto S-size parcel (max. 100mm), 5.90€
International shipping over 3cm orders will be send as Priority letter with no tracking. If you need or want tracking please contact me beforehand.
Direct pick-up can be done at Tampere city centre depending on the schedule of Kuusade. Please contact us before placing an order if you wish to arrange for a direct pick-up.
Please make note that any orders picked up at events and conventions can only be done with products already stocked, unless agreed differently beforehand.
Our smallest products can best be shipped by priority letter. However, Kuusade recommends you choose the tracked parcel shipment (only available to finnish addresses). In the event of lost shipments, please contact the shipping company and ask them to investigate. Kuusade is not responsible for shipments lost by the shipping company.
Orders are shipped out from my sudio between 1 to 60 business days from placing the order. If the product is in stock, the shipment will normally be sent within a week, except the weeks and the week before them where Kuusade participates in any event or convention, in which case there can be delays.
Back-orders and any complicated custom orders can have shipping delays, up to 60 business days.
If you need a rush order or need tracking, please contact Kuusade before placing your order.
I ship everything in one shipment, I don’t divide orders, even when the order has both stocked products and backorder products.
I package everything carefully but Kuusade is not liable for damage incurred by third party actions, such as those of the shipping company.
Returns and cancellations
The customer has a legal right to cancel the order within 14 days of placing it, during which the customer can cancel the entire order or parts of it. Any products returned must be unused.
You can’t cancel or return any custom products.
Kuusade does not reimburse any expenses relating to returning of a product, unless the product is faulty. Any shipping expenses of a return are the customer’s responsibility.
If you need to return an order, please contact us at kuusade@gmail.com beforehand.
Unredeemed orders are not the same thing as returned or cancelled orders. We collect shipping costs on any unredeemed orders where return has not been specified.
Kuusade is not responsible for any delays or impediments caused by unforseeable circumstances (force majeure).
Please make note that every image on the webstore is taken of one example product. Every product is handmade, therefore there can be differences in between the example picture and the product you recieve. The images are taken in the best possible light and the best possible angle, but there can be some differences in colours caused by computer monitors.
Kuusade reserves the rights to all of our products. Our products may not be used for commercial purposes or for resale without contacting us for permission. Which is usually given as long as it is asked.
Upon placing an order, the customer commits to our currently active Terms and Conditions, and terms of data Privacy protection.
Covid-19
Because the global pandemic, shipping takes longer than usual to the countries that Finnish Posti deliveres (as seen on the photo below). International shipping can take up to 7-8 weeks
